31 Dogs Saved + Next Steps

31 Dogs Saved + Next Steps

On December at 5:30 AM, our team bundled up and rolled out with 4,500lbs of dog food, heading north to deliver critical supplies to a community bracing for winter.

We came home with 31 dogs. If you’ve been planning a year-end donation, this is the moment it matters most. Before the true harshness of winter sets in, before storms, and before vulnerable dogs run out of time. Your support now also ensures your 2025 tax receipt reflects immediate impact.

Many of the dogs we met were already struggling: emaciated or thin, untreated medical issues, and malnourished. When last week’s blizzard and extreme cold rolled in, the reality became clear: most of these dogs likely would not have survived the temperatures we just endured.

This is why this work matters. And your support changes lives.

Routine veterinary care alone for this group will exceed $15,000, and we already have three medical cases: one parvo caseone leg amputation, and a dog with a cherry eye.

Rescue isn’t just one moment, and the work isn’t done after the drive home. It’s early mornings, preparations, long drives, heavy loads, fundraising, and months of care for these vulnerable dogs. If you’re able to give before year-end, your support directly fuels this work and helps carry these dogs through winter and recovery.
