Foster Me

Cider was returned to care a nervous gal. She needs a foster who wants to help her gain some confidence. She is good with other dogs after proper introductions who are respectful. She enjoys playing. Cider is also good with cats. She needs a foster home with no kids.

Cider has cruciate ligament tears in both hind leg that are currently managed with pain medication, but surgery is required. She has touch sensitivity, so this can’t happen until she finds a committed foster who is willing to help her through recovery (ice/heat packs, range of motion exercises, and rest). She has a lot of potential if someone is able to execute a cooperative care training plan with her 5-10 minutes per day (she is not getting this in her current placement).
